These groups are for adults aged 18 years plus and are a supportive space to just hang out! They are not ‘therapy groups’ but rather a space to spend time with likeminded individuals in a relaxed setting who just ‘get it’!
Please note that only our animals will be present during the sessions. Please kindly leave your beloved pets at home!
There is no need to pre- book.
6-Week Wellbeing Progam
Our 6 week Wellbeing Program is a structured 6-week initiative designed to support individuals health and wellbeing through engaging and interactive activities. Our programs can be tailored to suit the needs of the individuals we are working with.
Each 1-hour session includes:
Animal Assisted Therapy: Individuals will interact with different therapy animals each week, learning about their needs to keep them happy and healthy. This experience helps people draw parallels to their own needs for emotional and physical wellbeing.
Craft Activities: Every session will feature a creative activity that connects to different themes relating to health and wellbeing, allowing individuals to express themselves while reinforcing positive health and wellbeing messages.
At the end of the program, we can host a small exhibition where people can showcase their creations to friends and family. Following this each participant will receive a Pets and Picasso CIC tote bag containing their crafted items and a certificate of achievement.
Program Details:
- Maximum of 5 individuals per session.
- Individual sign-up forms are required for each participant
